How To Make Easy Shut Down Icon/Tile In Windows 8 Start up Screen

Are you happy with shutdown process of windows 8? Are you feeling bit uncomfortable with windows 8. Do you fancy a shut down button on the desktop as a tile on your windows 8 computer?

Here we are going to present a very simple and easy process to create a shut down tile on windows 8. So that you can shut down your PC with one click only. This is a hidden secret of windows 8 which is safe to use.

Process:

• Right click on the desktop and choose New then Shortcuts.
• Go to the Location Field, type shutdown/p then click Next.
• Choose different name for the shortcut or leave it as Shutdown then click Finish.
• Now you can see a shortcut of shutdown.

To change Icon Image:

• Right click on the shortcut and click on Properties.
• Choose Change Icon, then you can select a best icon from list of available icons. We recommend all to choose a red colored power button for better icon.
• Press Ok then click Apply and then Ok.
• Now you can see new changed icon.

Now Lets move that shortcut to start screen:

• Right click on new shortcut and choose Pin to Start. Now you can check by pressing (WIN key) to go to the start screen to see your shut down icon.
• You can see shut down icon on far left corner of the start up screen now just simply drag to bring that icon in your favorite place which you think appropriate for you.
